I know you taught me to be strong, but there's only so much a person can be strong for. Losing you was the most painful feeling I ever felt! But I know you may not be here in person...but I know you're here in my heart. I feel like you're still at home in that armchair scoffing yourself with sour sweets and having a nice black coffee! I miss the stories you used to tell me about the war and showing me you as a soldier. You will always be a true soldier, you were brave, you were strong and you never gave up. You was kind and caring to me and everyone else around you, you always told funny jokes and always made me laugh. You taught me everything I needed to know and I can't thank you enough. Please know that I wear your necklace every day to remind me you're still so close. You're never forgotten!
